Indian Idol 5 and the public

this has been repeating for last five shows of Indian Idol........why only Indian Idol?? in other music talent shows too....and i am really sick of this already


its very simple and straight forward rule.....vote the singer u like......u shall be given d contact no where u can either call or sms n vote for ur favourite singer......the time for voting is limited......singers get their votes from not only india but also from other corners of the world...

now u may ask me where the problem is........

i am being specific about Indian Idol only as at present I am watching Indian Idol 5 but the fact is this stands true for all such musical competitions.....

Indian Idol 5 has 3 of the judges who are best at their fields.....anu ji, sunidhi ji and salim ji.......no doubt these men knows and understands what music is and who can sing and who can't......they are the judges....

i ll be telling you today's(24-05-2010) incident.....and it will give you the total picture of what has been happening here and what will be continued to happen if this thing is not taken care of.....


there is a singer named VISWAS RAI, from illahabaad who had a good journey since his first day of audition......he has been continuously performing well........judges had given their compliments and he was always appreciated for his awesome performances.........

the best performance of him was delivered when the final 13 were being selected......he sang the title track from the movie called "FASHION" and the track is named "Jalwa"............and a Jalwa it was indeed........lets see a glance of the rocking performance ....

look at how judges applauds him, it says everything and he was clearly voted in safe place for final 13 of India Idol 5........voted by "public"????...........nah...the judge took this decision this time......


next round.......show was being telecasted on 17-05-2010.....and this was a "dedication to Idol" round.....
Viswas Rai considers the great singer Sukhwindar Singh as his idol and this time he selects another song of his idol form the movie "CHAK DE INDIA".......the title song itself "Chak De India"

another decent performance....may not be the best of all but certainly comes in top 5 performance among 13 members......

other contestants had variable performances.....some were good some were bad.......and its the audience this time who had to judge n decide who is going to get eliminated...

the result came today at 9 pm .......

to my utter surprise it was Viswas Rai?? how could be that possible??

even the judges denies to believe that the people from our "Great Musical Nation" has voted this great singer out of the competition.........


now I shall say what I feel about this....
we have so many good singers all over the country........but yet people who dont understand the music at all outnumbers the people with optimum musical sense......then why take this risk to leave such important decisions in general population's hands?? the judges'panel can be enhanced........they can select the top singers by their own.......the stage of Indian Idol is a dream for thousands of singers and only the small fraction of them can put their feet on it.....and a wrong decision can crush a singer's dream into pieces.......this is just not right for someone like Viswas Rai who doesn't deserve to get eliminated so early.........

He deserved to stay....but he couldn't........because of the "public"......... I feel sorry for him.........

but I ll pray for his bright career agead....hope he shall get the proper recognition he deserves at the right moment...

Viswas........U will remain in my heart........U ll always be my hero........my God bless you....

and the "JALWA" has to occur..............
